Repurposing Project

The Hāto Petera site is being re-purposed to provide services, which are aligned to the site’s historical purpose of ‘education’.
Core components of the repurposing is to include the following:

1. Education with a focus on vocational training
2. Health and wellbeing training
3. Housing for those educated/trained during and post their training – whānau are supported and catered for onsite.
4. Provision of services that are culturally appropriate, particularly in line with Matauranga Māori and Te Ao Māori.
5. Katorika Māori spiritual chaplaincy services.
